Well, I've been selfishly blogging and promoting my own projects this week, and completely dropped the ball on letting you all know about another very important project that is not mine. My good friends, Sleeping At Last have begun their year-long album project "Yearbook". If you are not familiar with it, you can read all about it here. The basic premise, is that they will be releasing three songs a month for the next twelve months. It started this month with their October EP. I received my copy several days ago, and I have to say, it's beautiful. I've been a fan of theirs for almost a decade, and this is looking like it will be their best work to date. The song "Watermark" (on the EP) is probably my favorite song they've ever written. Also, my good friend Stacy Dupree did some back ground vocals on the song "Next To Me". You can hear it streaming here. Congrats Ryan and Dan, you've started something truly amazing!
You can buy the October EP here. Thanks for reading.
Jeremy

I also think we should be expecting their best stuff to date. The October EP not only sounds very good, it sounds like October ! My favorite month would be September; way to go waiting 11 months for this one...
It's funny you should like Watermark so much, Jeremy. This song reminds me of your music a lot ;)
(well, the voice has a quite different quality, of course)

Just as you said sleeping at last, my face lit up. Their song Umbrellas is so so gorgeous. I think I cry every time i hear it. Some of the best lyrics ever.

I bought it right after Elsie posted it! I'm a big Eisley fan...never heard of Sleeping at Last actually. Really, really great stuff. I've listened to it over and over. Thanks for the intro to them!
