(This blog post is from this day one year ago. It sounds like this is the first mention of my Fort Christmas side project...)
Under normal circumstances, there is very little overlap between a musician's blog, and a lifestyle blog. But between Elsie and I, that overlap usually has something to do with pugs or flea markets. You may have already seen this on her blog, but you should know that I was the one who found it!
So, although I am extremely grateful to everyone who left a comment in that last post, my decision hasn't gotten any easier. It seemed to be split into equal thirds. I am leaning towards making CD's. The kind of album I'm making needs packaging. We will of course have it on iTunes as well, but I'm not sure about vinyl.
I've been thinking that while I'm waiting for my album to come out, I may make a little side project ep just for fun. I wanted to do some fun-upbeat-Animal-Collective-type songs and give it a different name. Maybe just with Crumar, drums, and some synth sounds. I've never tried anything like that, but it could be fun. That reminds me, I bought that other Crumar from the flea market. I just need to get it working now. I just did a Google search, and there is not a single image for one- that's pretty crazy. I will be the lone image when I take some pictures. I did find a website that was a Crumar Museum, here are some mid 60's keyboards made by the same company:
Thanks again for all of your feedback in that last post. You all are so incredibly kind to me, and I can sense all of your support. I really feel like you are on my team; thank you for that.
